Staffing Recruiter Staffing Assistant (Human Resources)

Job Responsibilities

As a Staffing Recruiter, you will make a genuine impact on job seekers by getting to know their skills and goals, and matching them with opportunities in which they will thrive. Using a consultative approach, you will identify, screen, negotiate with, and place qualified candidates.

Your specific duties in this Staffing Recruiter - Staffing Assistant role will include:

* Answering phones

* Recruiting quality candidates via phone, email, social media, in person, etc.

* Interviewing candidates

* Performing data entry

* Filling job orders

* Providing excellent customer service

* Interacting with clients

* Performing payroll duties as required

* Keeping office clean and following safe housekeeping practices especially in and around your desk

* Checking email consistently throughout the day for new job orders and instructions

* Administering drug screens

* Visiting clients as needed per manager's requests

* Attending job fairs as needed

Job Requirements

We are looking for a Staffing Recruiter who is passionate and motivated to work hard and exceed expectations your own as well as your employer's. You should be a quick learner who is able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment, both independently and as part of a team. It is also important that you display exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the Staffing Recruiter role include:

* 1-2 years staffing/recruiting experience

* Must be able to work in both the Spartanburg and Greer offices

* Expert Knowledge of E-Verify and I-9 protocol

* Solid understanding of employment law as it relates to interactions with our teammates, clients and coworkers

* Ability to leverage recruiting methods to proactively drive candidates to the office

* Demonstrated history of going above and beyond to meet the needs of customers

* Strong customer service skills

* Excellent phone skills

* Business professional attitude

* Data entry skills

* Computer proficiency, particularly with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook

* Availability to work 8am-5pm plus overtime when needed and some on call nights and weekends
